Theo Soompi, vào ngày 3.10, KBS đã phát sóng Tree, Tree – bộ phim tài liệu theo chân IU khám phá một khu bảo tồn thiên nhiên trên đảo Jeju, Hàn Quốc.
Khi đi tham quan khu bảo tồn, IU nhiều lần bày tỏ sự kinh ngạc trước vẻ đẹp của thiên nhiên. Trong lúc ngắm nhìn một ao nhỏ được mệnh danh là “ngôi nhà của đom đóm”, nữ ca sĩ đã nói về tình yêu của mình với đom đóm và cách chúng truyền cảm hứng cho một trong những bài hát nổi tiếng nhất của cô – Through the Night.

IU nhớ lại: “Lần đầu tiên tôi nhìn thấy đom đóm trong rừng là khi đang quay một bộ phim cổ trang. Chúng rất đẹp. Tôi thích đom đóm đến nỗi tôi đưa hình ảnh của chúng vào trong lời bài hát Through the Night“.
IU cũng chia sẻ tầm quan trọng của việc nghỉ ngơi đối với sức khoẻ con người. Nữ ca sĩ bày tỏ: “Tôi nghĩ rằng để cơ thể lấy lại được sự cân bằng, bạn phải dứt khoát chấm dứt công việc và nghỉ ngơi, thư giãn khi cần thiết. Cho dù bạn ăn uống lành mạnh đến đâu, nếu bạn không dừng lại để nhìn nhận và chăm sóc bản thân, bạn sẽ không thể khá hơn. Với tôi, cách chữa bệnh hiệu quả chính là dừng lại để nghỉ ngơi”.
Sau đó, trong bộ phim tài liệu, IU nói về cách cô đưa ra những quyết định quan trọng trong cuộc đời. Nữ ca sĩ tiết lộ ngay cả khi cô lựa chọn sai lầm, cô vẫn tuân theo bản năng của mình và đi theo những gì cô cảm thấy đúng đắn. “Ngay cả khi sự lựa chọn đó đem lại nhiều rủi ro, tôi vẫn cố gắng hết mình và chấp nhận những thử thách”, IU bộc bạch.

IU cũng thú nhận: “Thành thật mà nói, tôi chưa bao giờ thực sự hối hận về quyết định của mình trong quá khứ. Tôi là kiểu người luôn kiên định tiến về phía trước trên con đường mình đã chọn”.
IU, sinh năm 1993, là nữ ca sĩ, nhạc sĩ và diễn viên nổi tiếng hàng đầu xứ kim chi. Cô còn được gọi với nhiều biệt danh khác nhau như “Nữ hoàng nhạc số” hay ”Em gái quốc dân”. IU sở hữu chất giọng đẹp tự nhiên cùng khả năng truyền đạt cảm xúc ấn tượng. Thế mạnh của cô là hát những ca khúc ballad nhẹ nhàng, trong trẻo. Ngoài ra, khả năng sáng tác với ca từ tinh tế, giàu cảm xúc cũng là điểm mạnh của IU.
